Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, the Painted Hall reopened in 2019 following renovations, and has since become a popular visitor attraction for its beautiful artwork. Arguably its biggest masterpiece is its ceiling designed by Sir James Thornhill in the 18th century - which took him 19 years to plan and perfect!
