Scotland, Edinburgh
Follow in the footsteps of royalty (and even pirates) as you enter Edinburgh Castle. As you discover the castle grounds with your guide, hear stories about how this fortress was once the residence for Mary, Queen of Scots, and a prison during the Napoleonic Wars. Take a snap of the six-tonnes Mons Meg (a medieval cannon), and see the Royal Palace.
Then head over to the National Museum of Scotland. Step inside and uncover the mysterious Arthur’s Seat Coffins, Dolly the sheep, and ‘Scotty’ the T. rex – one of the most complete skeletons in the world. From Scottish history, science to world culture, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
