In 1881, this building was the birthplace of Picasso, who would soon become one of the world's most recognised artists. Today, the museum is home to some of the masterpieces that he created with his father, Jose Ruiz Blasco. You will also see personal memorabilia and artifacts from Picasso's life, including some of his baby clothes, portraits, and sketchbooks.
As you wander through the museum's 9 rooms, learn what influenced Picasso's art and also why he found nudes, doves, and bullfighting, so symbolic.
The museum proudly boasts over 3,500 works of art from more than 200 artists, which you can explore during your visit.
